UltraBac has provided native tape support for Windows backup since 1995. All popular tape devices and library/autoloader changers are supported. Media bar coding is supported on media changer devices with this technology.

Customers can use UltraBac to back up directly to the cloud or use the block-based, mountable image backup with integrated cloud copy for a hybrid solution. An image can be mounted locally or in the cloud for file/folder/partition level restores or when required, perform a WinPE based bare metal disaster recovery with dissimilar hardware restore capability.

Customers can also use UltraBac to back up directly to tape.

With UltraBac’s UltraCopy utility, customers can automate copying any on-premise disk backup to any supported device which includes disk-2-tape, disk-2-cloud, disk-2-disk, tape-2-tape, and even disk-2-TSM. UltraCopy creates a unique index enabling immediate restores from backup copies.
